praying for good news

I called my mom today.  she is a nurse in the same office as my ob.  i wanted her to check my charts and see if my tests came back, since i hadnt heard from my nurse yet.  she got quiet and said "there is a note that he needs to discuss your results at your friday appointment."  I have pre-e and my bp seems to be getting worse, dispite medications....anyone else had anything like this happen?  am i getting worked up over nothing?  im trying not to worry, because it doesnt help the situation.  thanks for letting me get that off my chest.  if anyone has advice or words of wisdom i would love to hear it

    i have no experience with pre-e or high bp but here is to good news at your appt!! GL!

    I'm sure it's important, but if it was a severe situation, I don't think they'd let you wait till your next appointment. So try not to stress (that won't help your bp!!) and just see what he says Friday! GL!

    Im in the same boat so I cant offer any advice but at least you can know someone else out there is as scared as you! I also go on Friday and Im so afraid that I either wont be leaving and will be monitored or they are going to induce me, which is what happened to DD but she was 37 weeks at least.

    My mom works at the hospital and I had her pull my results too. Kind of a neat coinsidence.

    I was sent to L&D on Monday after my appt due to high blood pressure and protein in my urine.  They ran a bunch of tests and said I have Mild Toxemia.  They put me on bed rest and told me to do the 24 hour urine. - I go back to L&D tomorrow.  If the numbers aren't better they'll induce me on the spot per the Dr.  They're trying to avoid Pre-E.  Are you on bedrest?

    well not strict bed rest...my ob told me that i can work half days and when i am not at work i need to be at home in bed.
