prenatal massage

I signed up for a prenatal massage and a pedi today (not at the same place).  I wanted to go to Elizabeth Arden because I love them and I think they do a great job, but I found a lady who specializes in prenatal, postnatal and infant massage for like 1/3 the cost.  Then I found an inexpensive nail place that had a lot of good reviews on google.  I am excited about it!  I can't really reach my feet anymore and they need some attention!  And my back is killing me and I can't wait.

So, for those of you who've had some TLC via a prenatal massage, how was it?  What did they do?  Did you love it?  Did you feel fabulous afterwards?  This is a special outing for me, since I am on modified bedrest, so... Tell me something good!

    i had a lady recommend a prenatal massage & the way she explained it was the bed has a chunk cut out so that your belly fits comfortably & it really loosens & releases a lot of tension from your back & feet. she said she didnt realize she was so tense until after b/c she felt so good! i'm getting one as well & can not wait!! :]

    I had one, and yes, I loved it!

    She had me lay on my left side, (I kind of leaned forward to expose more back, it was comfortable) and rubbed down my back a LOT, and my arm and leg, then I switched sides, same thing. It was an hour long and it was amazing.

    I had two.  They were pretty good  Some have special pillows that have indents for you bump and breasts.  The other place had me lay on my sides.

    This! I'm actually getting one at the end of this week- can't wait!  I've had a GC but have waited b/c some people say that it can bring on labor and I wasn't quite ready for that yet! LOL :)  Prob an old wives tale, but n cay cae, it feels HEAVENLY :)

    I had one a couple months ago and it was AWESOME!! The best part was laying on my stomach! They had a special table and I would have payed to take a nap there!

    I get weekly prenatal massages and I LOVE them. It pretty much feels like a normal massage. Some places have beds with holes in them for your stomach, mine just has special pads that they use. You're going to love it!!

    I had one yesterday and it was the best thing i've done for myself the entire pregnancy.  They had me lay on my side - turning over halfway through, and it was marvelous!  Not only did i feel amazing afterward, but i slept better last night and it completely calmed me down and for some reason i feel so much more mentally prepared for labor (i've been quite terrified up until now).  My husband said that it was defintely money well spent b/c my attitude has been so much better since.

    This!  I just had one tonight with a gift certificate from my bday.  It was wonderful!

    I've had 2 so far.  First place had me lay on my side and personally I hated it! My arm fell asleep and my hips hurt so bad that I couldn't really relax. The second place had the belly and breast cutouts and that one was completely worth it! I'm going back to the second place for another one next week
