Would you get the H1N1 vaccine?

I am watching the news and they are saying the vaccine will be out in the fall. Would you get it? I am scared of getting the flu, but also nervous that they are rushing to get it out. Would you give it to DC?

    If it was approved for toddlers, sure I'd have her get it. I get a flu shot every year, so not sure if this is different. But, I'm all for vaccines.

    No I wouldn't get it for me or the kids like you said it was rushed way too much.

    My mom manages to sneakily inject me with the flu shot every year, so I'm guessing I won't be able to escape the H1N1 shot.  I'm really not that worried about it, but I get the flu shot every year anyways, so why not this one?  Flu shots are new every year anyways and not "rushed".  They're relatively easy to make & manufacture.

    I don't think I'd get it for DS, b/c he has had severely high fever reactions to some vaccines, including the flu shot.   
    I get the flu shot, mostly just b/c DS can't, but I don't know about the h1n1.  Like others said, it's been rushed.  I'm not up for being a guinea pig.

    I have balls, ball hair, AND a uterus. so....I kind of fit in.

    Sure will.  Last thing we need is for DH to bring it home from the hospital and share it with us!

    We are pretty sure we already got the swine flu (all 4 of us).  Our doc didn't test any of us because it was already in our county and they said at that point, they figured it was.  None of us have otherwise compromised immune systems.  Also I do think it is too new.  I an just now becoming okay with the chickenpox vaccine!

    Probably.  I get regular flu shots.

    If it is separate from the regular flu shot...no.  I do get the regular flu shot every year and so do my kids.  If it is added to that then fine.  I hate shots so one is enough for me!

    BTW...who said it was being "rushed"?  I think they have been working on it since the first swine flu outbreak.  That is the same length of time they always work on them.

    Pretty positive that dd and I had the swine flu, although we also weren't tested.  It was just like the regular flu, but we slept 20 hours a day.  Although I don't want to have it again, I don't think I will have the option to get the vaccine.  They were very clear in saying there would not be enough for everyone and if you are not old, pregnant, compromised or an infant you would need to wait it out.
