I know it may be early, but I'm looking for other moms in/near W. Bloomfield to get to know and once our babies are born to meet for coffee, chat and exchange experiences, walks in the park with our new bundles of joy. Anyone know of such a group?
There is a Birmingham group on meetup.com, but they are already active with small children. I live in Bloomfield Hills, and am expecting my first in October, so in the spring I would love to get together with some other new mommies in the area!
Great! How is your pregnancy going? This is my first too. I've got two coming. I'm in my 9th week and have a great couple days after a few bad weeks of nausea and extreme exhaustion.
My pregnancy has been very difficult, and I can't wait to just have her here, and to not be pregnant anymore. My morning sickness didn't end until around week 20, and I've had several other complications. DH and I are thinking of adopting a second child as opposed to going through all of this again! That being said, I am SOOOOOO excited to have our baby here with us and extremely thankful that she is healthy in there!
I am glad you are having some naseau relief! If it continues, talk to your doctor about Zofran, it was a total lifesaver for me, and nipped the vomitting in the bud after about 15 minutes. I hope your exhaustion also gets better! I can say for sure that I got my energy back midway through the second tri. Twins are so exciting! Are you going to find out the gender?
I live in W. Bloomfield - expecting Feb 5th. I just moved to the area so I would love to meet other moms-to-be. We are probably moving to the Rochester Hills area soon - but it's just a drive away!
