In honor of my new improved Pregnancy ticker, I would like to know why you picked what you did for your tickers.
Me- I don't want to find out the sex of the baby, so I picked the pretty green background. I want to have a big beautiful baby bump so I pick the one with the BBBB woman on it. And Me and the baby Will both be Aries so I wanted that symbol for both of us.
Please tell me I am not the only one who put this much thought into a ticker.
Re: Why did you pick your pregnancy ticker poll?
I loved the one I had last time but I didnt want to reuse it...
And I was (ok, I AM) obsessed with my Cabbage Patch Kid and my ticker makes me think of him (Bobby) I have had him since I was 2 and it makes me smile.
haha interesting question ...
I like the pretty green background of mine, and I love the little rattle. I picked orange because it goes nicely with the green and I'm having a fall baby!
I honestly didn't really care for any of the ones thenest had but wanted a ticker so I picked one that I didn't think was completely awful.
I know there are other places to find tickers but for some reason once I enter in the ticker code my computer goes nuts.

2IF does not always equal 3IF...Surprise!
Cabbage patch kids ::giggle:: I wish my dog hadn't eaten mine when I was like 10. I loved that baby.
Its nice to know that I not the only Dork here.
I agree the orange and green do look like fall.
I like the little giraffe on yours! He is very cute!
Awww Sad! I had to work for like 20 mins to get mine to save right into the bump. (see my confession today but I wanted a ticker I could be proud of and happy with for a while, I still might change it again in a few months)
Aww! What a great reason! Now I will see it the same way when I see your posts! So you are no longer the only one!

Awww! Livy's Ticker is cute! Isn't it weird how little ones like to moo! I always find it oh so cute and funny. Good luck on finding on you like for this pregnancy.
Ok. I changed mine, and now I love it. Thanks for this post!
OMG! SO cute! I can't wait for your special delivery to get here!
Aww, thank you!! Same to you! ((hugs))
I chose the chick marker because I choose that the first time, because we called the baby Chickadee (I know a chickadee is a totally different bird that is regional to North Carolina, but still. it was a nickname). When I lost Chickadee, I got that chick marker tattooed on my wrist.
So when I got pregnant again with a seemingly sticky baby (and it has been!), it felt right to use the same marker again. I didn't want to repeat a blue background though. That felt weird and I felt strongly then that it was a girl. When we agreed to go Team Smug, it seemd like a green background was most neutral.
My other tickers are all lilypie though. Because I think they are cute. On one site, it's the yellow flower head on a blue background and on my private site it's the green pea pod with the hearts/flowers background (because I thought it was neutral, but have since been informed it's girly).

Aww! What a nice story! Ummmm I have a question what is Team Smug?
I am glad your little duckie make you happy!
This is so touching. I know I'm hormonal, but I'm tearing up reading this.
I had a lilypie one for my last pregnancy so I didn't want one for this one. Fortunately the bump had some cute ones. I picked the kitty because my LNN nickname of Katwoman Cook made easy work of my LNN friends calling my baby "Baby Kitty" so the kitty made sense. I used to have a pink background because I love pink but once I found out I was having a boy I switched to blue.
Team Smug is a play on two things - a) the Team Pink/Team Blue badges and b) the YouTube sensation song 'Pregnant Woman Are Smug' in which they make fun of women who say things like "Oh, we know, but we're not telling" when asked about things like the sex of the baby or the name of the baby.
Basically, we're planning to find out the sex of the baby, but we're keeping it a secret between the two of us. DH wants to be able to announce it after birth and I really wanted to know beforehand, so this was our compromise. IRL, we just tell people we are keeping it a secret (which is true; we're just keeping it secret from them, not from us, lol). People seem to think it's fun, and it sort of is. So far though, the baby has out-smugged us. We had an u/s last week, baby measured 16w and we got a between the legs shot that was totally indecipherable. Go figure.
