Disposable wipes w/o chemicals?

I am looking for some wipes that don't have as many or any of the chemicals the basic ones seem to have (why do you need all of those anyway?!). 

I am up for trying cloth wipes and the spray bottle, but DH wants some disposables too.

    If you are CDing, cloth wipes are sooooo much easier. And they save money too :)

    Wipe and toss in the pail with the diapers. Wash all together at once. Voila!

    The hospital supplied us with dry wipes called Quickables.  It's basically just glorified paper towels -- and I'm sure you can find softer paper towels.

    When we were using disposable wipes, we liked the Huggies Nature Care ones.

    DH was very skeptical of cloth wipes, too, and he likes them better now. They are easier, plus there is more wipe between his hand and her poop with cloth.

    If your hubby insists on having some disposable ones in the house, then get some for sensitive skin that are free of fragrances and dyes; then do give cloth wipes a chance. ?They are so much better at cleaning up messes - even for HUGE poops I only ever use one or two cloth wipes. ?With the disposables, I would have to use ten or fifteen to do the same job because they're thin and flimsy and just don't absorb as much or clean as well. ?Plus, as the pps stated - they're easy because you drop them right into the pail with the diapers and you're much less likely to actually touch your child's poop with a cloth wipe because of its more substantial thickness and size.

    Ditto on all the previous posters... cloth wipes are better. But, if we must have disposables, we like the Lansinoh ones (they are by the Lansinoh breast stuff usually, not by the wipes). Huggies and Pampers broke her out a lot. Just a cotton pad with water on it works pretty good too, as does washing them off in the sink for poops.?
