Back from the dr (28w4d)

...and I got the weight talk. Sad  I seriously don't believe their scale though...it said I had gained 10 lbs since my last appointment, bringing me to 30 lbs!  My scale puts me at closer to 25 lbs and was 7 lbs less than their scale this morning!!  WTF?

I also had the fabulous sugary drink for my GD test.  Fruit punch..not so bad, I just have a headache now.  Wish me luck!

    We are in the same boat.  I had my appt. this morning and have gained the same amount as you.  Dr. told me to watch my calories, but I seriously don't think I am eating all that differently than I was pre-pregnancy.  Oh well...

    Me too!, kinda....the scale at the doc office seems to always be 5lbs less then the other 4,586 scales I weight myself on. So in my mind, ive gained 22 lbs total, about 4-6 a month....his scale, I gained one pound last month...who to believe??

    Was it the rapid gain in a short period of time or the total weight gain that he was unhappy with?  I ask because as of today's appointment, I have gained 27 pounds and my doctor said my weight is right on target.

    I think the total weight gain.  Although, she wasn't thrilled about the rapid gain either.  She measured me and said I was right on track "measurment-wise" though.  And my clothes still fit fine.

    I'm in the same boat. Had my GD test yesterady & their scale said 28 pounds but that put me at 4 more than my home scale said the day before! I mean I know it's hot & I've been retaining water, but still...anyway I got the weight talk. I took it with a grain of salt. Just trying to not let myself give in to junk as much & get moving more. I don't look huge - everyone keeps telling me how great I look for how far along I am, so I'm just gonna choose to believe them :)

    can we trade doctors please? lol! Mine was nice about it but said that it's just more I'll have to lose after the baby...and she wants me to exercise more. Sigh..I have a bad foot & it's 97 degrees out & we don't have a/c! What's a pregnant lady to do?

    AGH!  Now I'm nervous!  Maybe he was just being nice to me.  Haha.  I certainly wasn't underweight to begin with so I know I don't need to gain anymore than necessary.
