Will someone please give me my sweetpea back?

Who is this crank I've had for weeks?  He seriously throws a fit over nothing.  I just changed his diaper and he wanted his pj's on, but SIL will be home in an hour to take him outside to play.  He's already in a dirty outfit because I only got to wash diapers last night and am waiting for the washer to hopefully be open tonight to wash his and my clothes since I'm almost out as well.  I just don't want to change him again.  And he is throwing a tantrum over it.  Please can I have my sweet son back?

  • All I can say is man I hear you. I don't know where this whiny crankpot came from but I wish someone would take him and bring back my real son!

  • MINE IS THE SAME WAY!

    WTF?!

He has been clenching his fists and SQUEALING over the most minor little things! Geeze-o-pete's!

What's going on with our little guys?

  • Wow - I start to wonder if it's the age or the pg mamas somehow...

  • At this point I might venture to guess it's the pg.  The three of us that just said we had crankpots all have DS at different ages.
  • Hmm...could be a pregnancy thing. I was just kind of chalking it up to DS having all this really rapid learning lately. I figured he's probably just getting frustrated that he can't do it ALL AT ONCE. haha! But, certainly my tolerance level is shorter, and my ability to give him what he needs. But, my daughter (she's 16) this morning told him that she really wishes that he would please return her "Sweet Ethan". She's also getting really tired of his tyrannical little outbursts.

  • Or teething.

E tenses up her whole body and gets very frustrated if she does not get the "toy" she wants. And by toy, I mean mom's water bottle, cell phone, or anything else she happens to want at the moment. She also gets very frustrated on the changing table if it begins to take too long.

I know for a fact that she's teething because her little nose is running clear. She has 8 teeth and I'm thinking more are going to be emerging soon.

  • DS has been working on his last 4 molars for the past two months but nothing is coming through.  He gets motrin when he really starts chewing his fingers or biting me hard while nursing.  I just have no patience for the crank right now.

This - I'd like to keep my (mostly) sweet boy, please.
