Tell me about your cell phone

My phone is over 2yrs old and lately it spontaneously powers down. Today I sent two text messages after it had been charging all night and the battery was flashing and it shut down. I've had it!

I've been checking out the reviews on verizonwireless.com and don't know what to make of some of them. I would keep the phone in my pocket when I'm at work, so a phone that butt dials is a no-no.

What do you have and why do you love it/hate it?

I have a walkman brand phone (it was free) and it's horrible. It loses service constantly.

I have the iphone and love it. I didn't think that I would need all the features but when I got it as a gift, it was the most amazing thing.

Samsung glyde is horrible. Its touch screen and it freezes, doesnt send text messages and the alarm clock brings the battery way down.

I have the google phone (G1) from T-Mobile and I love it. It's just like the iphone with a smaller screen, plus it has a keyboard. The screen locks, so no butt dialing here either.

I have the Blackberry Storm and I am addicted to my phone. Its easy to add the apps that you need. I've also had the voyager which was good too,

We have AT&T but I have an LG shine, I hate it, the set up just sucks, the buttons suck, it just sucks! My DH has the Samsung Impression and it sucks too, he cuts out unless he talks on speaker phone, the reception sucks but he does like the BB like features without the BB price!

I have a blackberry pearl. I love it. BUT, if they release the iPhone to other carriers (and I've heard that this may happen soon), then when I can upgrade next year I will get an iPhone. I love verizon service too much to switch to another carrier just for the phone.

Thank you all for contributing! I'm going to head out now to the Verizon store and will hopefully be happy with whatever decision I make. I'm going to focus my shopping on the Blackberry line and the new LG phones, but I have to check them out live before I decide.

I'll let you know later what I get!

I have the green Crazer...it is awesome for texting since it has a slide out typewriter...but sucks for pics. Doesn't take the well and is forever not working. But I love it anyway.

This might be too late, but what kind of phone do you have? DH and I both have the Envy. His started doing the exact same thing you are talking about. He googled and saw that many other people had the same problem with this phone. He ended up going to Verizon and they downloaded a new software and so far thats helped.....
