"Why should you not have
one, you are having a baby, just not in the traditional way and people
will want to get you things and you need a lot of stuff anyway, so why
not let people get things for you? If the match happens quickly, we
can always have it after the baby comes if need be."
For questions, just a lot of curiosity about the process and wanting to know what the steps are. But without pressure.

I'm so excited for you guys
Yes, yes, a million times yes, i'd love to be a reference for you
I can't wait for the call that says i'm going to be an auntie
ETA: A friend of mine asked if we'd set up a registry. For some reason that made it seem all the more real, and that our child will be treated like any other.
I dislike the continual comments about how lucky DD is to be part of our family, like we "rescued" her. Once someone made a comment how we were so lucky we were (DH and I) to have DD come and join our family and that is how I feel...so fortunate for the way thing fell into place!
From my parents neighbor (b/c mom can't keep her mouth shut, lol) "The world needs more people like you"
From a girl on the knot, who had the same wedding date (my wedding twin), I've stayed in touch with her, she said "I think that's so cool, I'm so happy for you and Mr. Mufish"
From someone I barely knew, who found out somehow (family i suppose) "Congrats! I think what you're doing is great! Foster parents are very special people."
From an old coworker who caught me in BRU pricing items, so I had to confess. "Why is it that the people who deserve to be parents are the ones who struggle with it the most, you two will be awesome parents when the time comes"
Copied from our blog when we announced that she had come home:
Welcome!!! Congratulations!!! Your family is beautiful!!! Love to all 4 of you!
Welcome home Charlotte! Congratulations to the family! She is adorable, and so little compared to big boy Cooper. She is sure to be a welcome addition to your little family. I'm so proud of you all. Can't wait to hear more, and let us know if you need ANYTHING!!
Yay...now I can finally give you all my girl stuff!
Re: S/O Goofy Questions - Top 3 Positive questions/comments
I have the BEST BFF...about a baby shower:

I just went to my family blog and c/p'ed a couple of comments from our match "announcement"
You're going to be awesome parents!!!
I couldn't be happier for you - and there aren't two people who deserve it more!
As a BM:
1. That is awesome what you did.
2. You are a strong woman to make that decision. I am jealous of your strength.
3. Would you be willing to be on a panel and speak about your experiences to a group?
