Consignment Sales -- those who have SOLD

Is it worth it?  I have been looking into 2 in Charlotte -- one would be LKN area and another N Clt one.  I just dont know if its worth it -- what is the avg % that the sale actually gets from your money?  One of these is 30% and that seems a bit steep...or maybe Im just cheap, the other is not posted.  I have a ton of name brand clothes and baby items and could rack up -- but still I just dont know if its worth the time.
