We have a heartbeat!!

We had a Dr.'s appt yesterday and we heard the hb for the first time!! It was so cool! Sounded great and strong (158) and next stop our BIG U/S on 8/21!!

    That's great!

    I can't believe they waited until you were 16 weeks to check for a hb.  That seems a little late.

    Congrats! It was such a nice sound hearing it for the first time to us. How come you just now got to hear it with 16wks?

    I'm so happy for you guys!! That's really exciting- DH and I loved hearing our baby's heartbeat for the first time! We have another doctor's appointment tomorrow where we'll be able to hear it again and I can't wait!!!!

    That's great news :)

    I didn't hear  my babies HB until 16 weeks either. They tried numerous times but the baby would always move away too fast and we would only get a beat or two, so I understand how much of a relief it is when you finally hear it in length. Congrats!!!! :)

    Congrats!  I thought I was going to go crazy waiting til 13.5 weeks to hear it.  You are an inspiration for holding it together until now.  I would have been a wreck!

    It was amazing and I cried because at first she couldn't find it- but once she did- the tears just started coming...

    I've seen it through u/s but I have never "heard" it...It so different to hear it.
