I love you. I really do, but I need to be honest with you about a few things...

1. I am 23 weeks along and you really can relax about me reaching above my head. It's really not going to do any harm to LO. In fact, I find it hard to believe that you never put your arms over your head during your entire pregnancy- otherwise how did you wash your hair?

2. While I am very grateful that you are opting to throw me a shower, I hope you understand the dialogue we had last night where I tactfully declined telling you how much weight I've gained/how large my belly is/etc up to the shower date for the purpose of haivng guessing games at the shower. If you want a guessing game, put some pink M&Ms in a jar and have people guess at that.

3. When DH's aunt calls and asks if she can bring along her 3 best friends that are not family and that I've seen once in the past 3 years, feel free to tell them "hell to the no" and blame it on me. DH's aunt does not need an entourage to attend the event.

ditto on number 1...my mom yelled at me last weekend for reaching for tupperware above the stove...she was like you can't reach like that the cord will get wrapped around the baby's neck..I was like um I never heard that and the doctor never said anything..she then apologized and said I guess it is another thing that has changed since she was pregnant, but she was told not to do reaching over her head!!!
