First Response Fertility Test?

I just saw a commercial for this and went to their website to read about it.  I'd never heard of this product; it looks like it's new(er).  Has anyone tried it?  It measures FSH on day 3, to assess ovarian reserve, and is supposedly 95% accurate.

I'm doing the Clomid Challenge next cycle, so no point in me trying it now.   I'm curious if anyone else has.

Re: First Response Fertility Test?

  • Eh I wouldnt do it...clomid messes with so many hormones. I tried and it got my hopes up for nothin. :(

  • I would just have teh blood work done at your doctor's instead of that maybe questionable pee test.   Plus, there's more to it than just FSH.  There aer other hormones at play.  FSH is just one piece of the puzzle.  My FSH was fine, and it stilll took 2 years to get PG with Ben.

  • Don't waste your money.  It doesn't really mean anything when you are in the scope of fertility treatments.  Your blood work during the clomid challenge will tell you everything you need to know!

  • Yeah, I wasn't considering doing it.  I will have that all  handled as part of my Clomid Challenge.  I was just curious if it could even be accurate from a pee test.  I'd just never heard of the product.  I won't be using it as I'm working with NCRS now.
