Parenting after a Loss

Moby wrap and newborn

Has anyone used a Moby with their newborn? I want to give it a try but am a bit nervous since the baby has poor head control.

Re: Moby wrap and newborn

  • I don't have a Moby, but I use a Wrapsody Bali Breeze wrap with my own newborn.  I LOVE it.  "Love" might, actually, be too inadequate a word for how I feel about my wrap lol.  The learning curve is a bit steeper than some other types of carrier, but it is so worth taking the time to learn to do it properly.  There are so many different ways you can wear a wrap, it's suitable from birth until your LO is too big to carry!

  • I have a Sleepy Wrap and like it better than the Moby, but a stretchy wrap is great for a newborn. You can tuck their head under the wrap, so they aren't flopping around at all. I started using it with Harris from 1 week on. I used it today and it's still great.

EDIT: it was 1 week, not 1 month (so I changed it)
