XP: Mod Podge or adhesive spray???

What glue does one use to glue scrapbook paper on canvas?  I want something that won't wrinkle and looks smooth.

  • You'll want to use mod podge- if you just do the adhesive spray, it will be really easy for the edges of your paper to come up. The mod podge you spread over the whole canvas, which gives it a uniform finish. In my blog are pictures of my scrapbook paper on canvas artwork, if you want an idea of how it looks.

    Your artwork looks great!!

  • ok, I've got another ? on the mod podge...when I went to the craft store, I was stumped because there are about four different finishes.  A gloss, a matte, and some others.  What is the 'original' or 'standard' mod podge?  The gloss?  Also, do I need to put a layer of krylon over the finished product, or will a final coat of the mod podge suffice (or do I need to do both?).
