Nanny?
Anyone know about what a nanny costs for a 3 month old and a 2 year old? Thinking of getting an at home nanny or finding someone that has room for 2 more. Thanks!

Depends entirely on how much experience your nanny has and what responsibilities you'd like them to take on.??
ETA: Sorry, meant to also say that you should expect to pay at least $12/hr. For two kids of that age, I'd expect it to be closer to $14/hr if the ONLY responsibilities are childcare. If you added any household duties (laundry, trash, as-needed clean up), you'd of course go up in pay accordingly.?

Does "As needed" clean up include messes made during the care of the children? Lunch, play etc? I did a double nanny job for 6 kids with another nanny once and she felt that she was ONLY paid to watch the kids, didn't even believe in rinsing out sippy cups or making sure all the kids toys made it in from outside etc (where we found them).
How much extra should one offer for a few extra duties? Is it an extra $2 or an extra $5? In my mind, I'd just need some dishwasher loading, shuffling laundry into the washer and shaking it out on the couch not to wrinkle - not putting it away or anything. I realize, more responsibilities = more money, but just "in general"
