For a girl? My husband just loves this name and apparently has always wanted to name his daughter Tuesday. I do like names that are different, but I don't know if this is too different. We would use Grace as a middle name. Thoughts?
it makes me think of Adams Family - even though her name was Wednesday.
NMS
LOL This is exactly what I thought too. Sorry, but I think it's kind of horrible.
CP 3/07 BFP 5/07 - Kylie born 2/08. BPF 2/09 - Alexandra born 10/09. TTC since 8/13 - diagnosed difficulty conceiving due to LP defect. Took vitamin B and Vitex Berry to help lengthen. BFP 2/14 - Missed M/C found at 8.5 weeks. D&C at 9w2d. Partial Molar Pregnancy. BFP 11/14
I also think of Wednesday Addams! I don't mind it though. People will probably think it's really cute after your LO is named and they see how darling she is!
"Tuesday we need to pick up Tuesday from soccer practice."
Nope don't like it.
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

I am not a fan of using names of the week (or even month for most of the months) as people names. Tuesday also makes me think of a TV show - I think it was the Adams Family that had a daughter named Tuesday.
NMS. Makes me think of Wednesday Adams. I also know a girl named Sunday. All to weird since you use those words on a weekly basis when talking. The months of the year are bad too. I went to summer camp as a kid with a girl named September. I must say though, I'll never forget her.
Eeek. Ruby Tuesday. Having taught kindergarten and trying to teach kids the days of the week- I would not want a kid in the class named after one of them.
There are lots of unusual names that are still NAMES.
THIS. There's unique, and then there's outlandish. Please, for the love of Pete, give your kid a name, not a weekday.
(The last time I said something like this, I got reminded that my name is Rose, which is a flower. I'll preemptively respond that, yes, it's a flower, but it's also been a given name for centuries. I was named after St. Rose of Lima (lived in the late 16th/early 17th centuries), not the flower. If you can find me a Saint Tuesday, I'll eat my hat.)
I guess I am the only one but I like it. ?I mean, it is not for the faint of heart, but I think it is a cute name. ?I also think that if you give her the mn Grace then she will be able to use that if she hates her name. ?Clearly I am in the minority here, so take it with a grain of salt!
Re: WDYT of the name Tuesday
NMS at all, but to each his own. I have a co-worker named Tuesday, as her parents are hippies and they liked the song w/that in it.
Just odd to me and the child will always be asked - were you born on a Tuesday as my co-worker gets asked that ALL the time.
it's called a kilt, he's scottish

NMS?
What if she's born on a Sunday or something?
I think of Tuesday Weld.
and Wednesday Addams!

I'm also all about the Wednesday Addams references as well.
Why not a middle name? Tuesday as a first name is not my style personally.
OMG!! I LOVE that name.... I've always said I'm naming my first daughter Tuesday.... if not her first name for sure her middle name!! I LOVE it!
I'm also in the minority, I really like it! It's not for me, but i think it would be very cute for a little girl
I know Nicole Kidman just used Sunday, but I like that as well
