To try not to obsess over charting. Fertility Friend is wonderful, but the chart gallery and everything are enough to drive you crazy. (If that's what you're using.)
My doctor told me that if you have normal periods then you shouldn't have a problem....all you have to do is have lots of sex!!! HeHeHe
Unless you have irregular periods and know you have a problem, I think charting and worrying about when you ovulate puts extra stress on you...which can be bad.
GEAUX TIGERS!!!
1st pregnancy: BFP- 6/28/09 -
Found out we lost our little girl on 10/9/09 at 19w 4d -
D&E- 10/14/09
June 2010, corrective surgery for Septate Uterus and large fibroids
Besides the lots of sex. I found that mymonthlycycles.com and mycycle.com were both helpful. You enter your cycles, when they start and end, how heavy, etc and it gives you your fetile window. Worked for me.
Stop thinking about TTC when your having sex. My doc told me that when we stop trying it will happen. We tried for 6 months and gave up figuring we should start seeing a fertility specialist. Next thing ya know...Bam! No specialist needed. Just no pressure.
My biggest advice is know what is going on with your body and your cycle. Also, try not to overanalyze everything. If you've been trying for a year with no success, go to a fertility specialist!
Every other day between cycles- worked both times!
I think this works much better than "sex all the time." Doesn't the sperm count drop significantly if you're doing it like rabbits? You might miss the window of opportunity!

in theory this is correct and I personally agree that is the ideal way to do it, but that is just my .02. the REs will tell you that if your DHs sperm count has no issues, then every day is perfectly fine.

Relaxing, not thinking about baby making but having sex because you love one another.

Yep, this.
yup thats what we did
Have sex, be patient, and get a hobby to distract you from the waiting and any disappointment you might have if it doesn't happen quickly.
And if it doesn't happen right away, start charting, temping, etc.
My co-worker told me this one...keep your legs up for 10+ minutes after sex...worked like a charm!
