2nd Trimester

Horrified - Evidently I now snore :(

Ack!  I have heard of this happening but figured it wouldn't happen to me.  DH emailed me today to tell me I was snoring all night.  I've never snored!!  It is probably because I can no longer sleep on my belly and am having a hard time adjusting to sleeping on my side.

Oh the joys...

On the other hand, last night while I was listening for Nubbin's heartbeat, I got three good kicks :)  First time ever!

  • omg, i totally remember this!  i was never a snorer till my 3rd tri with DD. i would wake myself up from snoring!  don't worry, it goes away as soon as you deliver...
  • Get over it. It's one of the sad facts of pregnancy. I hated when my husband told me I snored in my first pregnancy. I'm more horrified that I fart every time I pee in the middle of the night or first thing in the morning. You know, the only times dh is within earshot.

With my first I really started to snore when I got big.  I've already packed on the pounds with this one... but so far, no regular snoring.  I'm sure it will start eventually.

  • I've always snored.  Nothing I can do about it so why stress over it?  lol
  • this happened to me last time, and I'm sure will happen again.  Breathe Right Nasal strips seemed to help a little bit (but I'm not going to say it went away completely!)
