why are you so smart?! You seem to be an expert on everything! haha.. just curious, what do you do?
Married on 3.20.2004. It took 30 month, 2 failed adoptions and IVF for our first miracle. We have had 9 foster kids since he was born and started the domestic adoption process when he was 10 month old, we had 4 failed matches in that time. After our daughter was born we brought her home and spent 2 weeks fearing we might lose her because of complications that came up. But Praise God all went through and she is ours forever! Expecting again after IVF
Prior to moving to the northeast I spent much time working for politians both in appointed positions as well as in a consulting role. Currently, I research professionally - political, psychological and sociological. But, my published work is only from my political science research. I assist professors with their own research for publishing and I take classes in my spare time for fun (uh ha).
I don't know everything Nor, do I pretend to. I offer no expert advice - only personal opinion - I apologize if it comes across differently. But I do like to observe and enjoy learning from other's research and knowledge.
Oh I didn't mean you thought you knew everything! I just think you know a ton!
wow that's some resume!

I don't really have a 'regular' work hour job anymore so it seems like I'm more of a bum these days.
But we have a nanny starting for G on Wednesday so I can start back to doing some research. A book I'm researching for is due to the publisher in September - so I need to get moving, and I performed a print media analysis of the last presidential election (clinton vs obama) that I present to a political science conference in November and then it will be published - if accepted (which it will be). It's all pretty boring unless you have an interest in politics and particularly as they relate to women politicians.
This is all fun and it keeps my resume from having a hole but I would much rather get back to working in an office. I'm not very good at self-monitoring of my time at home lol especially with a baby!
