EPers: Want to cut out pumping sessions

Hi EPers, right now I am pumping 5-6 times a day (every 3 hours during the day but only when DS gets up at night, so I go a long time at night). I want to go down to 4 pumps a day - just can't take the constant pumping anymore. Can I do this?

Pump at DS first feeding (7am)

Noon

4pm

Right before bed (8-8:30pm)

    I think it depends on your supply.  I cut down to 4 pumps at 4 months b/c i was frustrated & stressed out trying to fit all the pumps in.  So rather than quit, i just cut the pumps.  I was still pumping enough for DD with a little left over for a freezer stash.  the schedule you posted is basically what i do and it seems to work for me.  good luck!

    My schecdule when i did 4x was 6:30,10:30, 4:00, 10:00.  It seemed to work well.  GL.  I had a rigid schedule in the middle of the day since I am a teacher.
