Chloe or Khloe

If the doctor was right and we are having a girl, we are pretty sure we are naming her Chloe Nicole or Khloe Nicole. Just curious as to which spelling you like better...Both spellings are in all the baby books and websites I looked at. I know the "K" spelling may remind people of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, but that's not where I got it from and by the time the baby is old enough to know how to spell her name, that show won't be on the air anymore, lol, Thanks!

Chloe for sure.

Khloe looks like some made-up version to me, in baby name books or not. Even my computer underlines it in red to show it's spelled wrong But not for Chloe, which I'm pretty sure is the traditional spelling of it. Khloe looks like the "klassy" spelling whereas Chloe looks classic. JMO

I like it with a C because that us how I have seen it traditionally spelled. I do not like alternate spellings in general.

If you want to do it with a K - do not use KH, that will just confuse people more. Coming from a Kristine, you are really not doing justice to your child by being unique in the spelling, it will still be a popular name whether you spell it correctly or not. What you are doing is setting your child up for a lifetime of correcting people who need to spell her name. My name should have been 'Kristine with a K'...

I prefer the spelling Chloe but would enjoy annoying people so much with the "alternate" spelling that I would consider using it. (Oh no! Now I'm probably going to be bashed and told that I'm a child abuser by even considering giving my child the lifelong inconvenience of having to spell her own name...)

The spelling with the K reminds me of Kahlua for some reason. I'm dead serious that was the first thing that came to my mind.

I just think it depends on whether u like it w/ a C or K better. A lot of names get misspelled or jumbled, I've heard the simplest names get jumbled around. It just depends on your prefrence. Look at the abbreviations of the whole name and see which one you like better.

I don't think it's annoying to other people as much as it's annoying to the child who has that name. ?
