Mini vent

It's mine and Jake's anniversary on Wednesday. We decided to hold off on presents until the next pay check, but even with an extra two weeks I have no idea what to get him!

I know he needs things for his truck, but I don't know what. I know he needs tools but have been told I am not allowed to buy them, b/c apparently it would be like him picking out shoes for me (lol). We aren't doing romantic gifts we are doing practical, and I have a budget set by what he is getting me (or around that amount) but I just have no clue.

I know you all don't know him so can't really give me suggestions, just wanted to vent b/c normally I think I'm pretty good at present giving.

    I hate it when you want to get an extra special gift for someone, but you can't think of anything that says it right.  I hope you think of something good!
