I'ld like to get some recomendations before I buy some. What do you use and do you feel they work well? Any pros or cons I should know of?

Thank you!!!

Re: Nursing Pads

  • I use the disposable J&J ones at night and have washable Avent ones for during the day.

  • I would either buy reusable ones (washable cloth) or the Lansinoh Ultra Soft.
  • I have the reusable Medela cotton ones which I love for around the house.  They are more breathable than the disposables.  They definitely show through tops though so they're not really for public use.  I used the Lansinoh disposables and they were good, also.  Make sure you change them when they get wet!
  • I also use the J&J disposable ones.  I think they are the least noticable.

  • I use the Medela disposable pads.  I feel like they are the thinnest and most absorbent.  I have also used the Lansinoh disposables which are also good and are better at sticking to the bra than medela but they are bigger and sometimes show through my bra.  I have tried the Avent disposables, I do not recommend them, they are bulky and do not adhere well.

  • I love the J&J ones.  I've tried the Medela and Gerber ones.  Medela you could def see through my shirt and Gerber didnt quite get the job done!  I recently had to buy the Avent ones, as BRU didnt have the J&J, and those work good too.
