Freezing breastmilk, what increment?

I'm stocking up for when I go back to work and am having a hard time deciding between 2, 3, and 4 ounce increments.

Thoughts?

I did all sizes. I had 1oz bags up to 5oz bags. You will need different amounts at different times, so it's good to have a range.

when are you going back to work? if it's at 3 months, I would think your DD would be taking at least 4 oz.

I actually did a combination. I can thaw out 4 or 5 oz ones for full bottles. I can thaw out 2oz for mixing with cereal or pureed foods.

I had 20 bags so far and they all go from 2 ounces to 5 ounces....that way I will be able to pick and chose what I will need.

I have 4 oz bags but sometimes I want smaller amounts so I think a variety is the best option. GL

Ditto this. I've found it comes in handy if he needs a 7 I can mix a 2 and 5 or if he needs a snack I have a 1 or 2 to hold him over.

I have heard of freezing the BM in covered ice cube trays (once they're frozen, you can transfer them to a freezer bag) and the cubes are usually an ounce, so you can just pull out as many ounces as you need.
