DS hasn't been feeling well since Saturday night and subsequently has been comfort sucking almost non-stop for the past 24 hours.  He is eating and making plenty of dirty/wet diapers, but I doubt that he's draining the breast with all the comfort sucking.   (I think he's just snacking as he goes along.)  Is there any chance my supply could suffer from him not draining the breast, even though he's on it all the time?  Should I have been pumping here and there?  Does comfort sucking actually help build supply?

    I doubt it. Just having him on the breast and suckling actually increases your milk supply, according to my BF books and kellymom.com
