Pain! Confused if RLP... Help?

I woke up with pain in my lower groin. I noticed the pain the second I was awake and without movement. It hurts so bad that I can hardly work. It is fairly sensitive to touch and while in a car- each bump in the road made the pain worse. If I move or don't move- it hurts the same and is a constant source of discomfort. It doesn't come and go like a BH.

I know w/ RLP- it is associated with movement. Could this be RLP, a pulled muscle, or something else?

What do you think?

  • I'm having this too. It hurts the most in the morning when I wake up and when I get up from sitting on the couch for a long period of time. It feels almost like a pulled muscle. I assumed it was RLP, but I'm going to verify with my doctor next week.

  • This sounds similar to what I have been experiencing.  My OB has said it is a combo of RLP and my pelvic bone separating, making my groin muscles sore.  I was given the okay to use ice or heat to alleviate swelling and pain.  If your pain gets extremely severe, I'd call your OB just to be sure.
