  I had GD with my first pg and last pg (when I mc'd), I bombed the 1 hour at 7 weeks (didn't make it long enought to do the 3 hour), so I am anticipating having it for this entire pg.  It's not that bad.  Just keep saying that you can do ANYTHING for your LO and it's only for a couple months.  There will be special things that you need to eat like high protein low carb stuff but you will survive, I promise.  Just ask me any question that you want about it, I feel like an expert.

  Remember, GD is only dangerous and harmful to your LO IF you don't control it.  If you do control it, then you shouldn't have any problems.

  My sister had GD with both her pregnancies and her children are perfect. I haven't gotten the results back from my one-hour yet, but I know that GD runs in families so I am bracing myself for potentially having to deal with it. Good luck!

  Thanks for the responses ladies :-)  I will be seeing my doc later this week to get this all on track

  1st pregnancy: m/c began 1/12/09 d&c 1/13/09 8wks. Baby stopped growing at about 6wks.
