Best Breast Pump?

I am looking into the Medela PIS.  I am renting a Lactina right now.  Are they comparable?  If not what do you suggest  Where can I get it the cheapest? 

I have a Medela Swing but it just does not do the trick.

I am looking for a powerful Double Pump!

    I have an Ameda Purely Yours, and I love it; it's quite a bit cheaper than the PIS, and I'm told it works just as well.

    I have been researching pumps lately and I have seen lots of  good reviews on the Medela PIS however I will say that almost every review I have seen does comment on the milk backflow into the machine.  Apparently the milk can enter certain parts of the machine and eventually grow mold. It is inevitable b/c there is no way of stopping this "backflow".   The Ameda Purely Yours and the Avent Isis Duo do not have this problem.  Of the 2 the Ameda comes highly recommended from what I can see and is extremly affordable.  Downside to the Ameda is that almost all reviews indicate that ther customer service line sucks.  Hope this helps!

    I have the medela PISA and LOVE it!  It's been my most used item besides diapers! :)  I've had no problems with backflow and don't really see how it would happen unless you are pumping a lot (which I'm not yet-I'm only to about 3 oz/sitting at best).  I also have friends with the PISA who love it and haven't had backflow problems.

    If you are renting a hospital grade pump (the Lactina) and go to the PISA you may not find it powerful enough.  I have the PISA but I rent the Lactina because I find it works better for me.  The hospital grade will always have more suction/be more powerful.
