Lansinoh Pump

I am new to pumping, and I have a question about my Lansinoh pump.  Do any parts need to be replaced on a regular basis or just if they are broken.  Also, I once read a post about the "membrane" parts that need to be replaced, and I am not sure what the membranes are.  Thanks.

    The membranes are the clear, soft plastic pieces that fit into top of the flange. The little white cap goes on over them. Does that description make any sense?

    Thanks.  That does make sense.  So, the membranes don't need to be replaced unless damaged?
