New York Babies

Anything available in NJ?

The city has all these great resources but I was wondering if anyone knows of anything in the central-NJ area? I am looking for a new parent support group or mommy and me classes...etc....anything you know of would be appreciated! I am less than three weeks away from d-day! Thanks in advance. :)

  • I don't know how far it is but I know that Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ has a bunch of mommy and me classes. Pre and post birth.

    Good luck!

  • Not sure how far away you are, but The Birth Boutique is a great store that I know offers a lot of breastfeeding classes/support, etc.  In the early days, this could be a good resource and social experience for you and new baby.  The breastfeeding pro is named "Sheri" and their website is www.birthboutique.com.  I was just on here and they have some good info on it.  Good luck!
  • You can also check out the Mom's Club website.  They will send you the phone number of a local mom's club contact.  It's an international organization that offers support and activities for stay at home moms.
