My guess is that it would get mispronounced a lot as Vee-da...and the Vay-day pr. reminds me of Darth Vadar...NMS!

I agree. I only know it's pronounced Vay-duh because I've seen this name a number of times on this board, otherwise I would think it was vee-duh.?

I see it as Vee-dah

Two thoughts on the name. Pronounced Vee-dah reminds me of the cheese (vel)vee-dah and pronounced the way you invision it it reminds me of Darth Vader in a Boston accent.

I have never heard the name before and I read it Vay-da. I like it. Very unique and uncommon (which is awesome!)

I think regardless of how people pronounce it, at least it's an easy name to correct and I doubt anyone will mispronounce it a second time so she won't go through her whole life all agrrrrrrrrrrr.... about her name.

I think it's beautiful, short, simple, and sweet.

I agree. I read it as Vee-dah. I would spell it Vada for the Vay-dah pronunciation.
