I have a Moby wrap which I used a lot until little A was about 10 weeks, but found it way to hot to use in the summer. He loved it though! I use my baby bjorn A LOT now (around the house and for any shopping trip) since he wants to see what is going on in the world. I also have a Peanut Shell, but I have never used it because I feel like he might fall out.
I never used a sling with Hudson, but bought (2) Peanut Shell slings that I plan on trying once baby is here. I've almost ordered a Moby numerous times, but think I might wait until after our son is born to go try them out just in case I don't like them. I figured if the ones I have don't work well for us, then I will just sell them.
We are using a Maya ring sling (lightly padded). We absolutely love it. DH and I can both wear it to carry DD around, and she's loved being carried in it since we started at around 5 weeks old.
We tried the Moby out at Peppermint, and really liked it. We were just worried about the heat factor. I still kind of wished we'd gotten one for just wearing around the house, but I think it would be too much with a sweaty little newborn outside this summer.
I have used the Moby since DD was 4 weeks old. I also bought some cotton gauze fabric and had G'ma make a lighter one for warmer weather. I still wear DD in one of them every day.
I used a Moby Wrap until she was about 4 months old. I love the Moby for a newborn because some kids have different preferences about being upright (like in a Bjorn) vs. cradled (like in a Hotsling), and the Moby can do both. We were living in California at the time, and it wasn't too hot.
Then we switched to an Ergo. At 2 years/26 lbs, she still fits fine in the Ergo and it's still comfortable for us! I highly recommend the Ergo... you'll get a TON of use out of it.
I tried a Hotsling when she was a newborn, and didn't like it. I seemed to be in between sizes, and DD hated being cradled. I tried it again when she was about 7 months old (in the hip carry) and liked it OK for quick errands. The nice thing about it is that it fits easily in a diaper bag, so I just left it in there in case I forgot the Ergo or a stroller and wanted to put DD in a carrier.
I also got a Baby K'tan for the new baby (on clearance at Peppermint) and I'm excited to try it out! My friend says it's similar to a Moby but easier to put on.

GL!
Liked the hot sling a lot while she was little - up to 4 months, maybe.
The Bjorn was great until around 17/18lbs, then it killed my back. But we all - DH, DD, and I - LOVED the Bjorn.
