I haven't told the Bump I am pg...

I made my ticker elsewhere and am not plugging in my due date for updates until Piglet is big enough to go to college... or we get to 2nd tri... whichever comes first.

The worst part last time was all those damn updates I kept getting when they didn't apply.

Anyone else do it this way?  I hate feeling paranoid and crazy but I am paranoid and crazy:)

    It took me a while to put up a ticker and to tell the bump, for the very same reasons. I didn't want to have to unsubscribe if something went wrong.  You need to do what makes you comfortable, just know that you won't jinx it by telling the bump.

    It does get easier, but I will say that first tri was like the worst 2ww ever... I could not wait to hit 14 weeks.

    I wasnt feeling crazy until my 2nd betas came back.....since they weren't as good as I hoped, now I am being super crazy. I stopped looking at baby things, stopped all planning......started obsessing.   I totally understand how you feel!

    I did the same thing initially. ?I just wasn't ready to have to undo/unsubscribe/untell people, etc. ?Once I really felt comfortable with this pregnancy I updated everything....you should do it when you're ready :)

    I didn't tell the bump yet either.  It hurt to bad after the m/c to see the due date and it seemed like I had to untell it several times before it took.  I do have a ticker through thebabycorner.com

    I know what you are saying!  I am still scared to buy anything more than a book.

    i wish i would have done the same thing because i'm still getting emails from other websites that my baby is one week old today!  (when actually i delivered him "still" in march)

    I completely understand. I just told the Bump on Friday, and was still pretty apprehensive about doing it then.

    This probably sounds stupid, so i apologize (i'm knew to all the board stuff and tickers,erc) but what do you mean when you "tell the bump?" does that mean when you put in your due date on your profile or something??? Sorry in advance for being naive!!!
