2 Shower Questions/suggestions

Hi Ladies,

1. Is it okay to put the time the party will start and end on the invitation or just the start time?

2. Please share favors ideas for a boy baby shower

(we did bath and body works soap and a small candle for my sister's shower and some of the same guests will be attending, so I would want something diff.)

I think the best favors are edible. I also think you can put either the start time or both start and end times. It doesn't matter IMO.

I would prob put just the start time... in case it goes over time.

For my shower, my sister got huge lollipops (not like the ones that are as big as your head, slightly smaller, haha), and I thought it was a really cute favor.

I personally prefer the start and end time on the invite, though either is acceptable. I want to know if the hostess is trying to do a really long shower b/c I'll show up a bit late and leave a bit early if it's some crazy 3.5 or 4 hour get together.

Edible favors or skip them all together (I never miss favors at a showers).

2. Edible: for the shower i'm hosting, i put hershey kisses in a little favor box and attached a thank you tag with a ribbon. If I had more $$ i would've gotten cookies!

I like favors that are sweet: candy cookies...

as for times, if you think there may be lingering guests, then yes put the end time. the last thing you want is for you and your hostess to have to keep entertaining when most others have left. There is clean up and I know I'd want to get home with all my new goodies too.
