i have a lot of stuff that id rather donate to a shelter than to goodwill (ie: stuffed animals, books, etc - and i dont want people to have to PAY for them). where is one up here? lol
That is what I was going to say! I worked there for 3 years and donations are always great. There is a drop off station in the parking lot open during the week. It is located at the corner of park and Los rios on the east side of 75. There is also the Samaritan inn located in mckinney. They take children there. Hopes door might also be one.
Re: shelters up NORTH of dallas?
The Samaritan Inn in McKinney is a great facility and the only homeless shelter in Collin County. They are always looking for donations...
