Moving to OKC! :)

Hey Ladies ... I am moving to OKC area later this summer / early fall. Hubby got a promotion/transfer and we are *very* excited! We are coming from Las Vegas.

I have a TON of questions ..... about daycares, preschools, parks, and more. Any advice you have about the area I will LOVE to listen. We are planning on living in the Edmond area.

Biggest question ... I need some ideas on a preschool for my 3.5 year old DD!!!!!!!

    Congrats on your move!! It's way different than Vegas.  We're so laid back here in OK.  I don't live in Edmond but they have some of the best schools in OKC.  The zoo is a fantastic place to go, I think you'll love it.  Check out Incredible Pizza too.  It's so much fun for the little ones!     Because of the college environment, Edmond is a fantastic place to find great nannies, if you're looking for that kind of childcare. If you're interested in private, small-group homeschooling, I teach it personally and would be thrilled to sit down with you and show you what I do! ( I do financial aid for some families, so if money concerns you, you may just qualify for a scholarship anyway. ) Edmond schools are fantastic compared to some public schools, though. I'd say avoid OKC public schools at the moment, if you can, because they are currently on probation.
