We finally got our travel system today

After over a month of going back and forth as to which one to buy, we decided on Bertini Valencia.

We love it, we tested it out in the store and searched online.  It got 4.5 out of 5 stars in consumer rating.  I can't wait to put my little princess in it.

    How exciting!  I love getting new baby things (although I haven't ordered/bought much yet)!  I've been looking a lot and haven't decided on a travel system yet.  Is this navy blue or black?  I can't tell for sure in the picture.

    I was just looking at this one today and I loved it also.  I looked for safety specs on it but couldn't find any.  I did read that Bertini is a high end Australian line.  I think I'm going to go with this one too!

    Its black, white and a little yellow. Very sleek.  It is a high end australian line with really good ratings.  The only down fall is getting a second base for DH's car.  However, from what I have learned it fits perfectly into the Eddie Bauer bases.

    Thanks for the info!  I love black & white things (our master bedroom is black & white)!  Sadly we don't have a babies-r-us where I live (I am guessing that is where you bought this), but there is one about 2 hours away where my grandmother lives.  I plan to go next time I visit her in a month or so.  By then we should hopefully know if we are having a boy or girl so I'm sure we will be buying several things on that trip!

    Oh that sucks BRU is so far away!!! I have 3 near me.  You can order it online though.  Have fun shopping when you find out what you are having.  I have a serious addiction to shopping now.

    It's adorable!  DH and I are pretty much set with ours and put it up for registry.  Probably non-traditional as we chose not to do travel system.  Perhaps infant seat/stroller frame route for now.  But I know we still have time.

    I know, it really does suck not having one here!  Our area isn't huge but it has grown a ton in the last 10 years and we have everything else here, I just can't think of many other stores we don't have.  It is probably good though, I'm sure I would be there every week!  Once I find out what we are having I'm sure I will be 10x more addicted to shopping than I already am!

    Also, I just wanted to tell you how happy I am for you that your pregnancy is going well!  I lurked on Babies On the Brain & Getting Pregnant for a long time before ever posting.  I remember you talking about trying to get pregnant and then how happy/surprised you were when you got pregnant!  Congratulations on the little girl!

    Bertini took over Eddie Bauer because they went bankrupt. (just a lil fyi) =)
