Can I throat punch one of my employees?????

Please!!!!!!!  This man is driving me crazy.  He purposely doesn't do his job right so that I have to confront him.  Then when I do say something he gets all nasty and says that I am always picking on him.  What the hell!  I asked DH if i throat punch him and lose my job will he be mad and he replied "just lock yourself in the office till 1:30, this way you don't kill the man."

    It sounds like corrective action needs to take place. ?He obviously is doing it on purpose, can you write him up? ?or something similar??

    I know how you feel!  There is a woman in my department that does NOTHING all day long.  She sits there and reads and eats at her desk all day long.  No one will say anything to her about it either.  There are days when I just want to go out there and light the newspaper she is reading on fire!  LOL!

    I am going to write him up but I have to wait till monday since they are union employees and I need a union rep in the room.  I love my boss dearly but he is a push over and well doesn't do anything about, well anything really!

    I guess I will try to tell him what he did wrong as nice as I possibly can and see where it goes from there!  Thanks ladies
