Me: I was definitely one of the first with DS but now there are babies everywhere and I love it!

Most of my girlfriends have one or more kids already or are pregnant now or planning to ttc in the next few month.
Most of my friends that I consider 'couples friends' (ie, our friends - people DH and I see as a couple) are not yet near kids or just starting. Not surprising, since we were the first to get married (I'm a year or two older than most of them), and since we tried for nearly a year to get the sticky pregnancy.
Most of Dh's friends are not there yet.

I am actually one of the last out of my friends to have a baby. I wouldn't have been if it would have worked right away. Stupid infertility!

I'm the first of my college friends and the second of my friends in general. Some of the college girls are just to the point of getting engaged so I think my pregnancy is really freaking them out. Don't get me wrong - they're happy for me and all but I can see it getting a bit weird in a few months with some of them.

Our friends are either way ahead of us (5 year olds), or kinda far behind us (not engaged, not married, no plans for kids anytime soon).
It's kind of a drag, but at least DD and Nugget will be close in age
Most of our friends have kids. so we're definitely not the first ones. It's nice having others go before me (and having my sister right there with me). It's nice to talk about experiences.
Definitely one of the first. In my group of friends I was the 2nd to get married and now first to have a baby.
One of DH's closest friends is expecting in October, so it's nice to know someone else who is pg. Otherwise the rest of his friends are not even in relationships.
I expect our interactions with our friends to change drastically when the baby comes.

I am one of the last of my friends to have kids. A number of them have children graduating next year and one has a grandchild due about two month before me!
My best friend however, married a girl 16 years younger than him and they are due a couple weeks before me, so I won't be the only one with a new LO!

We are the first to have babies among our close friends. Most of our friends aren't even married yet.

We were among the first of our friends to have a baby. BUT, then a I made a bunch of new mommy friends through our hospital postpartum group.
This morning, we had a big pool party. About two dozen moms and toddlers, and almost every mom was pregnant or had a newborn!
