OMG - Another dr bill

That's right - Ella is officially 4 months old today and I just got another dr bill in the mail.  It another anesthologist bill for the day AFTER I delivered.  I guess he came back to talk to the nurses about my pain levels.  All for a whopping $350.  Oh - and since I went from vaginal to c-section - it was an additional $2200 billed b/c he had to be present (even though no pain meds were admistered except for 10 seconds of nitrous).  Seriously - stop the madness!  I am so sick of paying bills.

  • Ugh I do not look forward to this part of having the baby.

  • O had REALLY  bad jaundice and we had to go get blood drawn every day for almost 2 weeks, plus be on the bili blanket.  I still get bills for the blood draw even though it was covered by insurance.  I have 15 bills for bloodwork from WakeMed.  Ridiculous, I am so tired of seeing bills, too.  At least they paid for his circ, I thought for sure that would be a battle.

I am in Charlotte too. Where did you deliver, so I can prepare myself for the sticker shock?
