confession: I had croutons for lunch

I was searching my cupboards for anything that might sound edible - you know those searches that usually end up w/ Apple Jacks?  I found a bag of cheese & garlic croutons and I ate more than 1/2 the bag.  Can we say empty calories?

    I totally had about 3/4 of a bag of croutons for lunch on Monday!  Mine were also cheese and garlic, and they were super yummy (although my breath was anything but yummy later that day!).  No need to feel guilty!

    I love croutons and often eat a few for a snack.  The last time I did that DH remarked that we had stuff to make salad.  I told him I didn't want a salad, I just wanted the croutons. :)

    I think it's about what is good to you at that moment.  If it's croutons, then enjoy!! :)

    No reason to feel bad about eating yummy food that you love ... I'd say just don't eat that many every single day and you should be ok

    Yum. I have definitely been known to eat a salad just as a vehicle for croutons, bacon bits, or blue cheese. :)

    Although I have to admit, I got a little nervous when I saw this post, and thought it might be a "confession" because croutons are yet another thing that pregnant women aren't supposed to eat that I didn't know about...thank goodness!

    Funny thing is, is I hate salad but love croutons. I eat them off of everyone's salad:)

    When I first saw the title of the post, my first thought was, "Sounds delicious"!!

    How's it going with the pregnancy and your adorable boys? I don't see you on SaIF too much anymore. We miss you!
