Sesame Place - Worth it for a 16/17 mo old?

Hi Piladelphia Mommies - I am from Baltimore, and wanted to know if any of you have any exp. taking a 16/17 mo old to Sesame Place. DS LOVES elmo, and DH and I are thinking of making the 2hr trip to Sesame Place this summer. Pros? Cons? Any advice would be much appreciated! TIA!

I think it would be worth it. I took my cousin at that age, they have alot to do for you kids that age so I definitely don't think you will find the trip a waste. My advice would be to go earlier in the morning like when the park opens or later in the afternoon b/c mid day is packed with people who let thier older children run wild...at least that's been my experience. i think it would be worth it. we plan on taking my daughter there this summer (she's 18 mos) but we're just around the corner from it. definitely try to go midweek. i used to work there and the weekends were nuts. they also have a discount if you go after 4 pm. GL!

Yes, it's def worth it. We went last month when dd was about 12.5 months. Our friends were with us and their son is 18 months old. They both had a blast! There are a few rides they can go on and the characters are great. There is an Elmo show and a parade and it was so much fun! The water park area is great too but it was a little too cold the day we went so we didn't get to do any of that. Overall, I'd def say to go. Plus, your DS will enter for free since he's under 2!

I've had a season pass since my son was 12 months old. (Under 2 you don't have to pay for them to get in though!) He has enjoyed it since day one. There is plenty to do- they have a shaded play area meant for kids under 5, and he also enjoyed laying on my lap in the lazy river. Plus Ernie's Splash area just has sprayers that they can run under, and you're able to stay dry (if you wish).
