Update to my "freaking out" post

Ok, so I decided last night to totally downsize all the crap I was going to do for this party. I want to have a good time also so I refuse to stress!

We are getting a platter of chicken nuggets from Chick Fil A, I am NOT making the cake and we will just make a couple of appetizers. We are NOT serving a meal so we are having it mid-afternoon and I am doing 1 scrapbook page per day and I refuse to spend more then 15 minutes per page.

Voila!

Now I just have to get those invites ordered...... :) but I got the envelopes already... WOOT!

    There you go - easy!  We did pretty much the same thing - mid-afternoon, appetizers that I popped in the oven or just unwrapped and set out, and I didn't even do a scrapbook (I'm working on a photobook now though).  It's going to be great no matter what you do, or don't do!  :)

    I think Amelia's party sounds great!! I decided to do a low stress birthday party also! I can't narrow down a date until we get there because we don't know when DH will be on call etc. We were going to have a Back to Denver/Birthday BBQ, but I decided that would be too expensive so now it's just going to be a small afternoon party with appetizers, drinks & of course cake!! I want to order invites but I can't yet  :( I refuse to make A's cake, I already know where I want to order it from (only the most delicious place in Denver!!) I love cake tooo much & any excuse to order an awesome tasting cake is great for me!!

    I wish I had time to get As scrapbook done, that's a great way to show how she has grown/changed! Anyways, I am sure you will have a GREAT time & the scrapbook will look wonderful!!

    Cycle #2 Clomid 100mg April 2011= BFP!! missed m/c D&C done 5/25/11 at 7 weeks 3 days Cycling at RBA's frozen donor egg clinic. Start Lupron on June 18th. 7/25/12 Transferred 1 perfect Embryo, 3 frozen! 8/3/12 beta #1 146, 8/6 beta #2 526, 8/13 beta #3 9,108. 1st U/S on 8/21 showed our perfect little embryo split! We are having Identical Twins!!

    Sounds like a great party to me.  Aidan's next party will be in TX, so it will just be us, maybe a few balloons and a small cake.  Im actually looking forward to it being so simple.  I think you'll find this birthday Perfect!

    Sally, I learned my lesson after Caleb's 1st birthday. It was huge, we went all out, and I stressed the whole time and didn't enjoy it. Haven't made that mistake again. I think it's great and I'm sure her party will be perfect!
