I didn't even think about the fact that he hasn't seen me all morning so, of course, all he wanted to do was nurse once he realized I was there. They told me I could feed him there so I let him eat while we were waiting for the nurse to come back with the shots which took forever and he fell asleep. When she got in we put him on the table and he did not want to open his eyes at all so he sucked down the liquid as if he were still eating. Then we finally got him to wake up a little more (she didn't want to wake him with a needle) and she gave the shots. He cried a little with each one and reached down for his leg while she was doing it, but as soon as she was done he was perfectly fine! I was going to let him nurse a little more for comfort before we left, but he didn't even need it!
I don't think it could possibly be related so soon, but I was on the phone with DH when they got home since I had to come back to work and he was already making a huge poo. hahaha
Re: Shots not so bad!
Glad they went well! And I think the rotavirus oral vaccine can give them diarrhea.
