Update on my Godbrother's Family...

First off, thank you so much for the prayers that you extended them. It is truly one of the best things about this board to me - how much people support one another during troubled times.

Secondly - Good news is that his wife is doing great. She has been moved out of ICU and is in a regular room. Her spirit and frame of mind is AMAZING. She is just so happy to be alive! The baby was d/c from the hospital he was born at - The hospital that Jaime is at moved her into a suite so Kevin, his Mom and the baby could all stay there with her!! All that her hospital asked was that someone was always there with her to help with the baby She is even breastfeeding as she got the okay from all the MD's involved that her medicines were okay to do so!

Such a huge blessing. Her vascular surgeon said she was really a ticking time bomb and was so lucky to have been in the hospital when the aorta ruptured - that otherwise her outcome was almost positively fatal. She had Kevin had actually decided initially not to have kids and then had a change of heart, so it makes me feel like this baby was really meant to be in the world - that and there is still something very important for Jaime to do in her life

So thanks again - your support and prayers are so greatly appreciated!

What a wonderful story - from something to tragic to a happy ending! I am so happy for your godbrother and his family. I hope that she continues to do well and is able to come home from the hospital soon!

It is just simply amazing that she is alive at all and to be doing so well is a miracle! I know she is going to treasure this time with her family even more now. So happy for everyone!

Wow! I'm glad your update had a happy ending! Do they have any idea why she had the aneurysm? Strange to have one in someone so young. . .her siblings all need to be screened for this, too.?

Oh my gosh, I have goosebumps! That's so amazing that everything worked out the way it did [her in the hospital when it happened, etc]. God definitely has more plans for that family!!!
