when was your LO able to sit in the Bumbo?

dd is doing great holding her head up but not quite yet ready for the bumbo. when did yours get in it?

We first tried just shy of four months. She did okay, but wasn't a huge fan right away.

I put Brooke in it twice for just a few moments each time. She has pretty good head control.

He actually started in it a little less than 2 months...BUT at the point the back was high enough for him to lean his head on. Once he got a little taller we had to take a break from it because he wasn't able to hold his head up very well. His head would fall back after a few minutes if we put him in it. After a few weeks he was able to sit in it again. He can sit in it just fine now.

Edit: He LOVES his Bumbo.

I've heard to wait until 3 months, but DD has really good head control so I tried it early & she loves it! She laughs and smiles the entire time.

I heard it's supposed to be 3 mo, so we tried then. Sadly, my chunky monkey has such chubby thighs, and she is so big in general, that she stopped fitting in it after a few weeks- too funny!
