    Not sure how NW you are but we're moving from CT to Hawthorn Woods in August with our DS. I'm trying to find mommy groups in the area!

    Hey ladies I will be moving to the Deerfield area soon probably end of August from MN and will be looking for mommy groups! We are looking in the Hawthorne Woods area too.

    look on meetup.com there are tons on there!!! Also cafemom.com

    both of those have groups.  Also check your park district.

    I'm a little further north than you guys (Round Lake).  But I am up for playgroups anytime.  Let me know if something gets organized.  I would take that responsibility myself, but am expecting #2 in Aug, so I have enough on my hands!!  :)
