Diaper cakes

I think I hate diaper cakes. The first time or two I saw them (years ago, now) I thought "What a clever idea".... now I see them, and all I can think is "Ugh, how cliche". I'm sure I'm ridiculous for thinking this way, because it's really a nicely compiled way to give someone a bunch of useful items... but I just feel like I cannot look at even one more picture of one.

    I would LOVE a diaper cake with cloth diapers!! If it's 'sposies I'd rather re-gift it. Haha.

    I think they're cliche also, but if I got one, I guess I would have to appreciate the time someone spent to make it.

    See this is how I feel. I think they're a bit horrid and cliche, but I would appreciate the thought and time someone would put into one.

    I think they are kinda cute.  I'm not a big fan of real cake so it usually goes to waste around me.  I would use everything in some of these diaper cakes

     My Mom has a friend who makes them and I plan to send this site to my Mom in case she wants to make one for my shower LoL

    I'm glad you posted this.  I had forgotten all about these things.

    I like them and think they are cute. Most of my friends are just now starting to have kids so they haven't really been around for me to see.

    We received two for DS.  One of them was held together with hot glue which made dismantling it kind of a pain and some of the diapers were ruined in the process, but the diapers that survived were very useful!!!

    My step mother gave me one with my first baby.  I thought it was neat.  Like you said it's a good way to give someone a bunch of useful items.
